Update Alpha 32.1


Update 32.1 is here!

The Nerfing I

All assault rifles, pistols, and submachine guns have their projectile damages multiplied by 0.75 and projectile damage crit multipliers changed to 2. All shotguns have their projectile damages multiplied by 0.8 and their projectile damage crit multipliers multiplied by 1.25. This basically means all non-critical damages via such weapons have been nerfed; on the other hand, critical damages are typically unaffected (or slightly buffed) by this change. The Nerfing I encourages players to aim for critical hits.

Added Energy Ammo

  • Energy Ammo is used for exotic weapons such as Singularity Cannon

Added Singularity Cannon (name is displayed as "Zero's Cannon")

  • Singularity Cannon uses a fictional gun model
  • Singularity Cannon uses Energy Ammo
  • Singularity Cannon has no initial ammunition
  • Singularity Cannon has a maximum ammunition of 1
  • Singularity Cannon fires plasma balls that spawn a black hole upon collision
  • The black hole attracts everything within 24 meters and self destructs 12 seconds after its spawning

Added Electric Rifle

  • Electric Rifle uses a fictional gun model
  • Electric Rifle uses Energy Ammo
  • Electric Rifle has no initial ammunition
  • Electric Rifle has a maximum ammunition of 24 1
  • Electric Rifle fires plasma balls that recursively electrocutes all objects within 8 meters2

Changes to Assault Rifle

  • Decreased Assault Rifle's projectile damage to 17.1 (was 22.8)
  • Increased Assault Rifle's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2 (was 1.5)

Changes to Auto Shotgun

  • Decreased Auto Shotgun's initial ammunition to 12 (was 16)
  • Decreased Auto Shotgun's maximum ammunition to 12 (was 16)
  • Decreased Auto Shotgun's projectile damage to 4.8 (was 6)
  • Increased Auto Shotgun's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2.1875 (was 1.75)

Changes to Burst Assault Rifle

  • Added Burst Assault Rifle's aiming visuals
  • Increased Burst Assault Rifle's frequency to 2.25 (was 2)
  • Decreased Burst Assault Rifle's projectile damage to 17.25 (was 21)
  • Increased Burst Assault Rifle's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2 (was 1.5)

Changes to Fast Submachine Gun

  • Decreased Fast Submachine Gun's projectile damage to 12.5 (was 16.6)
  • Increased Fast Submachine Gun's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2 (was 1.5)

Changes to Minigun

  • Decreased Minigun's projectile damage to 14 (was 19.1)
  • Increased Minigun's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2 (was 1.5)

Changes to Pistol

  • Decreased Pistol's projectile damage to 15.2 (was 20.2)
  • Increased Pistol's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2 (was 1.5)

Changes to Revolver

  • Decreased Revolver's projectile damage to 24.2 (was 32.2)
  • Increased Revolver's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2.333333 (was 1.75)

Changes to Shotgun

  • Increased Shotgun's initial ammunition to 6 (was 5)
  • Increased Shotgun's maximum ammunition to 6 (was 5)
  • Decreased Shotgun's projectile damage to 5.44 (was 6.8)
  • Increased Shotgun's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2.5 (was 2)

Changes to Sniper Rifle

  • Updated Sniper Rifle's aiming visuals
  • Increased Sniper Rifle's maximum ammunition to 5 (was 3)
  • Decreased Sniper Rifle's face recoil push to 2.4 (was 5)
  • Decreased Sniper Rifle's face recoil upward time to 0.05 (was 0.1)
  • Decreased Sniper Rifle's face recoil downward time to 0.35 (was 0.5)

Changes to Slow Assault Rifle

  • Decreased Slow Assault Rifle's projectile damage to 21.2 (was 28.3)
  • Increased Slow Assault Rifle's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2 (was 1.5)

Changes to Submachine Gun

  • Decreased Submachine Gun's initial ammunition to 30 (was 40)
  • Decreased Submachine Gun's maximum ammunition to 30 (was 40)
  • Decreased Submachine Gun's projectile damage to 14.1 (was 18.8)
  • Increased Submachine Gun's projectile damage crit multiplier to 2 (was 1.5)

Miscellaneous Changes

  • Flames' lifespan has been doubled (from 8-12 to 16-24)

Bugfixes

  • Fixed bug where setting a resolution to be too low would cause the game to be unplayable; resolutions whose width is less than 640 pixels or height is less than 360 are no longer available

1 weapons that use Energy Ammo only consume one ammo per reload (maximizes the weapon's ammunition)

2 due to performance, an electrocution can only electrocute at most 64 objects
